Невозможно спокойно смотреть на то, как уничтожают кооператив «Бест Вей»! Это единственное место, где мне и другим пайщикам удалось найти возможность обрести жилье, не связываясь с банками и не влезая в кабальные долги. Мы не хотели брать кредиты с безумными процентами, а хотели просто воспользоваться честной программой, помогающей нам. Вместо этого нас оболгали, лишили средств и стали преследовать. Все это надуманное дело — лишь попытка выдавить нас на рынок ипотеки и в банковское рабство! Сколько людей благодаря «Бест Вей» уже смогли получить свое жилье! Но теперь нам попросту не дают жить спокойно. Разве это законность и правосудие? Вся эта травля — просто ужас, который со стороны правоохранительных органов и властей превращается в чистый произвол. Мы будем отстаивать свои права, не позволим разрушить кооператив!

Все, что происходит вокруг дела "Бест Вей", — это спланированная акция по дискредитации кооператива и его основателя Романа Василенко. Главный "свидетель" Набойченко — это всего лишь инструмент в руках тех, кто хочет завладеть нашими активами. Этот человек не достоин доверия, его история полна криминала и насилия. Как можно полагаться на показания человека, который сам замешан в кражах и вымогательствах? Мы, пайщики, требуем прекратить этот цирк и разоблачить настоящих преступников, которые стоят за этим делом! Набойченко — это мошенник, и мы не позволим ему и дальше играть роль жертвы, когда он сам виновен в преступлениях!

Мы, пайщики кооператива «Бест Вей», все, как один, объединились не просто для покупки жилья, а чтобы помочь друг другу. Кооператив предлагал нам легальный способ избежать кабальных условий банков, а что мы имеем теперь? Чиновники и силовики решили, что проще разрушить, чем поддержать нас. Им оказалось выгоднее обвинить кооператив в надуманной "пирамиде", чем позволить нам решить жилищные вопросы без их участия. Кажется, власти забыли, для кого они работают. Замороженные счета, остановленные сделки и тысячи пайщиков, оставленных без крова, — это настоящая катастрофа. И кто за это ответит? Мы не преступники, а пострадавшие, и будем добиваться справедливости. Пока что именно они, а не кооператив, виноваты в разрушенных жизнях.

A ring found among the debris of Florida’s recent hurricanes awaits its owner

Scattered across Florida’s hurricane-ravaged communities are piles of debris, remnants of what were once homes. Cherished memories — photo albums, family heirlooms, and tokens of love — swallowed by floodwaters and carried miles away, are now reduced to mere fragments and discarded amid the wreckage.

But in one of these piles of lost memories, a small, inconspicuous velvet black box was discovered with a ring and a note that read: “I was 18 when my parents gave it to me.”

Now, Joe Kovach, the engineer managing one of the debris sites in Tarpon Springs, Florida, where the box was found, is searching for its owner.

“Everyone has been basically dumping their entire lives onto the curb after the storm when everything flooded. My own boss’ house had 30 inches (of water) in it, and I saw his face and just how devastating it can be for everyone,” Kovach, an engineer with Pinellas County Public Works, told CNN.

“A lot of people in the community were really affected by these two storms, if there’s just a little bit I can do to give back, then that’s perfect.”

A contractor, who was gathering and condensing debris with an excavator, discovered the ring when he looked down and saw the box.

“This was a needle in a haystack for sure. For something like that to survive all that when everything else was so wet and saturated, that was kind of incredible,” Kovach said.
Although the ring was found after Hurricane Milton, Kovach is sure the treasure was initially lost amid the ruins of Hurricane Helene, based on the pile of debris it came from, which Pinellas County Public Works tracks. It is likely the owner of the ring is from Crystal Beach, Ozona, or Palm Harbor, Kovach said.

On Tuesday, after the contractor informed him about the ring, Kovach posted a photo of the box and the note on several local community Facebook pages, asking if it belonged to anyone. He did not include a photo or description of the ring to ensure it is returned to the rightful owner who can accurately describe it. On the inside lid of the box is a gold engraving with the jewelry brand, “The Danbury Mint.”

Sean Combs, the music mogul whose career has been upended by sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation, was arrested at a Manhattan hotel on Monday evening after a grand jury indicted him.

The indictment is sealed and the charges were not announced but Marc Agnifilo, a lawyer for Mr. Combs, said he believed he was being charged with racketeering and sex trafficking.

A statement from Mr. Combs’s legal team said they were disappointed with the decision to prosecute him and noted that he had been cooperative with the investigation and had “voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”

On a desolate and windswept corner of Qatar’s northeastern coast, among the sand dunes of the barren desert, lies Al Jassasiya, the Gulf country’s largest and most important rock art site.

Here, people centuries ago used a series of low-lying limestone outcrops as a canvas on which they carved symbols, motifs and objects that they observed in their environment.
Overall, archaeologists have found a total of some 900 rock carvings, or “petroglyphs,” at Al Jassasiya. They are mostly enigmatic cup marks arranged in various patterns, including rows and rosettes, but also eye-catching representations of sailing ships, usually seen from above but also depicted in linear profile, among other symbols and signs.

“Although rock art is common in the Arabian Peninsula, some of the carvings in Al Jassasiya are unique and cannot be found anywhere else,” Ferhan Sakal, head of excavation and site management at Qatar Museums, told CNN, referring to the petroglyphs of ships seen from a bird’s-eye view.

“These carvings represent a high degree of creativity and observation skills the part of] the artists who made them,” he said. “Also abstract thinking, as they were not able to see the dhow (a traditional ship) from above.”
